Perhaps try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.
Can you think of anything recently that's happened or been downloaded that could be the culprit.
Putting the phone in Safe Mode which disables all your downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones Live can help to determine if it's a rogue app.
Do you have any type of 3rd party battery saver option that may turn your screen to black and white to save battery ? That said the Samsung stock battery saving feature shouldn't do that but instead turns off features that use alot of battery.
Has it been dropped or had any water in it ?
A Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic on the phone.
