Losing my gallery

Hi

Keep getting messages to say  my gallery is closing and I need to use Microsoft, why? Don't all phone companies let you have photos stored?

You don't have to use one drive so you need to back up elsewhere. I don't know of any phone manufacturer offering free storage. Obviously there is Google but that's available to everyone.
