Lock screen view

Is there a way to view your lockscreen without unlocking it? As soon as I try to view my lockscreen, the iris/face ID unlocks straight away.

Ideally I want to view my lockscreen and then press the home button to unlock, is there a way of doing this?

Hi @iAndy

Although it's not ideal I'd recommend removing the Biometrics and Smart Lock from your lock screen security and using a pattern or PIN to unlock the phone. This will allow you the freedom to check any lock screen notifications and prevent the phone from unlocking the device automatically.
