HI @tonybig666

Have you installed any custom ROMs or software onto the phone? If so then I'd recommend checking the developers notes for the necessary steps to remove it or, alternatively, you can perform a factory reset on the device to return it to its default settings. Please be aware that this will remove all personal data from the device therefore please make sure to back up your data to an external source such as Smart Switch on your home computer. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch.

If you go to Settings > About Device (sometimes called 'About Phone' > Status and scroll down to 'Device Status', what does it say? If the status says anything other than 'Official' then there is unauthorised software on the device, in which case I recommend proceeding with a factory reset as advised above.

Although it isn't ideal please perform a factory data reset on your phone, making sure to back up any data to Smart Switch on your home computer. This should return the Knox status to 0x0: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch

As far as I'm aware once Knox is tripped it triggers an e-fuse meaning it's permanent.

Factory Resetting takes the phone back to it's last firmware update.

See xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/resetting-knox-trip.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
