I've seen how awful it is and I've been able to put it off, but my phone just said it'll update next time my phone is off or in about a week at 2am or something. Or if there isn't a way to stop it would doing a factory reset once it updates help? But I don't really want to go through and set my phone back up the way I currently have it. Any help? Thanks!

If you have auto update turned Off in your settings then it in my opinion shouldn't update by itself.
But as far as I'm aware you cant stop the phone reminding you that an update is ready.

Is there a way I'm not seeing to turn off auto update? Anytime I try to go in under lockscreen(ithink) it just brings the reminder back up

The reminder will always show afaik.
Please be very careful on what other action you decide to take on your phone to try and stop the reminder.

I've got auto update turned off, but this keeps showing up. Does that mean my phone will still update even if it's off then?

I think it takes getting into the developer options menu, then setting the Auto update switch to off.

Ay thanks. I got into developer mode and disabled auto update. Hopefully it'll work 👌
