I hate the new update for S9 - Android Pie

The title says it all. The UI is okay to deal with but some of the new features are terrible. I've had my S9 for about 8 months now, and I've never had any problems with it TIL NOW. Closing the apps feature is so complicated, you have to swipe up instead of swiping left or right which is more difficult to do if you're using one hand! The End Call feature isn't there! The photos on my people edge look pixelated! And my clock is on the upper left hand corner, which is very annoying and you can't do anything in the settings to fix it! Fix thisss!!!

Jenova, what is your point. So? It's Google but it's integrated as an updated on the Samsung phone.  And is horrible.

I've started my point. Blame Google, demand changes from Google. Unless Samsung develop their own OS, they can't change things. Hence my suggestion to visit Google forums. Tell Google you aren't buying an Android phone again..... 🤔

No! Smasung obviously have imput how their Bixby button is going to be designed, such as, telling them not to add a trun off option. As if samsung will not have any input, therefore it's a samsung issue. By the way your arrogance stinks.

It's actually One UI, which if I'm not mistaken is a Samsung skin over Pie. A lot of the issues are from their implementation of Pie and their stock apps.   pro mode on video for example is now gone.

Updated wife's S8 today to Android Pie and we just hate this new UI. OMG! Could it be any worse?! It is looking so nonprofessional, childish and incomplete. Every menu was before at the top of style, sharp and convenient! Why should Samsung restyle everything?! Phone app for example: to hide and show dialling keyboard you needed just to hit "keyboard" icon. Now it is separated to different "tab" marked by ugly text with underline. And these icons.. argh..! Worse UI from Samsung ever! One UI is no convenient and not looking nice at all. UI, which we had on Oreo (experience 9.0, or what it was?), was very cool and better in many ways. Why should someone broke something working fine anyway?

Any chance to revert back to previous UI without losing data, warranty and not tripping Knox? Or should we wait for Samsung to update this ugly One UI and make it better?

Who is the STUPID JACK??S at SAMSUNG that thought this update was a great f???ing idea. Did they hire a bunch of ***** tweens to redesign their UI, or was it a group of blind morons? Most of us adults prefer something that works well and looks good over candy??sed, ugly, cheap looking, piece of garbage that lost usefulness and functionality. Bravo Samsung for completely ruining a decent phone. Guess it's time to find a new phone and company that actually gives a s??t about their customers. Thanks MORONS.

I'm liking it. Or at least most of it. 

Agree on the recent app revamp not being all that great though. 

Multiple windows are gone?!... But even on s9+, it sucked from the get go. Really, you get a larger phone to display smaller multiple windows?!! Hell an app can still be small used fullscreen on 6in+ phone!!

DeX no longer uses the dock, and will just work as a computer with an HDMI to USB. Better option if using it as a computer is concerned (multiple windows would make more sense there - And DeX got better with windows resize/fullscreen etc..).

Battery management seems better I think... Getting noticeably better results there.

Bs censorship...
Took me about 5 hours but was able to get back my beloved OREO using odin and the sammobile flash files. Most of my settings gone but was able to save all my data.. Amazing thing is it's like a new phone, fast, and the firmware on the sammobile site was a better version of oreo somehow I'm getting all these new cool options I didn't even know about!

I swear, downgrading to OREO is like actually upgrading the phone! I have a note 8 korean KT Emperor Edition 256GB internal.
