Having trouble setting up finger print

I have a grey galaxy s9 and it has a finger print problem bought used but it let's me add a finger print but when it comes to testing it and says no match,wipe finger print scanner,make sure finger is covering scanner, press longer it say the same thing on lock screen

@olliehubb60: Have you tried adding multiple fingerprints, or using a different finger as your primary scanning option, to see if the issue persists?

Hi yes sorry to get back to so late and yes I have got it to work half the time but I have a new phone but having trouble with it aswell it stays on 60hz,screen dims and don't show the time of charging speed seems to happen if I get to many notifications or when it gets to hot to touch
