I found that many of the photos on my S9+ have no location information, even though my GPS was on. I eventually realised that it's only tagging photos when taken with the phone unlocked. However, most of my photos are taken very quickly when I see a subject of interest and I use the quick launch of the camera to do so, without unlocking the phone first. As the majority of my photos are quick moving animals and insects, I can't afford to delay the moment by unlocking the camera. I could keep the camera unlocked, but that has its own risks.
Is there any setting which will allow the camera to access the location information even though the phone is locked?
