How do I stop gallery overwriting the original image with the new edited image. Many thanks.

Hi @Rolandy  Before saving the photo  you have edited  click the Menu Bar (3 dots)  bottom right for more options and save as copy.  As a result you will have the original photo plus the edited one,therefore save as copy rather than save.

if you go back into the photo editor ,edit do you not have an option to revert?

Simply rename the new image. For example, the original is called: DRAWING - simply change the name to something else, such as IMAGE, PIC1, DRAWING1, etc.
