Galaxy S9 - When someone calls me I can hear them but they can't hear me!

It's so frustrating! Every time someone calls me I can hear them but they can't hear me. If I call them, it seems to work fine, it's only when they call me. Advice please!

I have the same problem I have to switch to speaker so people can hear me. but if I turn speaker on then off then I can have a private call.

its most definitely a software issue but I have not yet found a fix 🤨
