Galaxy S9 Plus LED Cover for stopped working after newest update

After new Android update my original LED cover for the samsung galaxy S9 plus stopped working. It doesnot come up with lights when I receive messages or it shows clock. Nor my phone wakes up when I flip the cover up. Any help or suggestions, please?

Actually after some investigation I found out how to fix it. Turn off completely the phone and get it out of the cover. Then put it back and turn the power on again. This fixed the problem.
