Galaxy S9+ (Plus) Android Pie (9) Cyprus - One Month Later Still No Update!!!

Honestly what the heck is going on?

Others have been enjoying Android Pie for a Month now, my device is carrier Unlocked and i still haven't gotten the update yet!

I understand Samsung wants to roll out the update in batches but this is getting ridiculous! Honestly this is the only reason to hate Android, Apple sucks but at least you get updates on time...

Also i can get this carrier sh** where they want to customise the devices they sell, so it is understandable to get the updates later than everyone else, but my device is the frinkin European unlocked version...

Samsung is great but they suck at developing software. Take Smartthings for example, you never know what the heck is going on, No timelines, No proper changelog, update comes once a month and breaks a bunch of functionality and of course Support is always there to tell you that they don't know anything and they cannot fix anything...

Honestly, as soon as a new company gets a foothold on Samsung and provide similar quality with better software support, people will flee in masses.

Well that was my rant on *****ty Software Development at Samsung and if a Samsung Rep reads this, please sent it to your bosses. You are making Billions, organise your ***** software team!

I agree 100% it's very annoying. I'm from Canada so idk I'd that has anything to do with the delay... I read online that s9 and s9 Plus were to see updates in the month of January but we are basically in the end of January and I'm still waiting for an update on my phone... such BS.

DON'T UPDATE to Pie your S9's! It turns your flagship phone into child's toy and removes a lot of features. I wish I could downgrade...

I have a Samsung note 9 that I bought two at the same time because they were buy one get one one of them has gotten an update and the other one hasn't. The "other one"  just happens to be mine and I'm seriously p****d just as the user above. Why in the world have I not gotten my update yet? I want it now. This is absolutely ridiculous you guys are supposed to be on The cutting edge of smartphones and yet people can't even get the update promise to them. When are we going to get them? I've called myof smartphone and yet people can't even get the update promise to them. When are we going to get them? I've called my phone service provider Verizon of also called Samsung nobody has any answers!!!

I have had the Note 9 for a month, I traded in my NOte4. What a mistake!  The update took effect the other day and now my wonderful little smart phone turned into a piece of PIE!

I called T-Mobile, they transfered me to Samsung; the only comments I recieved from Samsung was, "The phone cannot be reverted back in software" & "that is the way it is" , I have the date, TOD, some before and afters.

I am looking into getting their attention by filing both a small claims, and also criminal malicious mischief charges. The cost to file in Clark county washington district court is minimal, however the cost to Samsung to defend itself will be considerable.  My hope is that I can make it a class action and get others, even globally, to jump in.  THe $ range for setting the classification is such that it would be a Class II felony, that is if it were only me involved. The classification in the State of Washington is $750-$5000 for class II. If others jump in the overall $ figure jumps and it would most likely jump to a Frist degree.  It would rest ultimately on the motion and argument set before the judge in the complaint/filing.

I hate the update changed my camera settings
