The first 9.0 version has some pretty serious stability and performance issues. I STRONGLY recommend waiting for further versions so you would avoid any problems. In some aspects, the phone is close to unusable and the battery life is measurably worse after the update!

The recommendation of Samsung support is to perform a Factory Reset after the update. First, this is completely unacceptable, second and most important...

... Factory Reset did NOTHING to address any of the issues present in the version. The only thing it achieves is waste hours of backups and restore afterward.

Battery Life

Before update: ~6 Hours screen on time

Directly after update: ~2 Hours 40 Minutes SOT

Clean phone after update: ~3 Hours 10 Minutes SOT

~50% decrease in battery performance WITHOUT ANY applications installed than the default ones. Personally, I'm researching a way to root and revert the version and to hell with knox and security features

Yep PIE 9 ONE UI is full of bugs! Also as you just installed it, it will take 10+ days for the battery to settle down as it needs to learn your usage patterns so it will get back up to 7+ hours SOT

if you don’t like the update ? Just downgrade to Oreo 8.1 it's so easy to downgrade XDA as all the info! I only used ONE UI for around 30 hours I downgraded back to Oreo 8.1 as Samsung has rushed ONE UI it’s a ***** take!
