Forgotten pattern, but cannot use fingerprint access or PIN to change it

I've had a complete brainfart and cannot remember the lock pattern for my S9+.  The security set up on the phone is via fingerprint, I have also set up a PIN, but the pattern has left my brain. 

I wanted to change the pattern to something I can remember better, but I cannot get into security settings without the pattern.

I wish to avoid factory reset as that isn't a solution to the problem and I did not activate Remote Unlock. Livechat is not working for me so here I am!

Any pointers would be appreciated.

@jockspice: If you have a Samsung Account registered to your Galaxy S9+ then it's worth checking to see if you can access Find My Mobile on your home computer via the link below to unlock your device.

Otherwise I recommend visiting a Support Centre, taking proof of purchase with you, where an engineer can unlock the device for you.

Hi Andrew,

As I said, remote unlock isn't activated so the find my mobile option doesn't work. 

My device unlocks with fingerprint, it's what I'm using now, but I can't bypass the pattern request for security settings.
