Mine is working ok now. I cleared the cache and removed the account from my phone. Switched phone off for 5 mins then added account back onto phone. All working ok now emails received last night and this morning. Hope you can all get yours fixed as I know how frustrating it is. Good luck.
Did it remove your sub folders, like some are suggesting, my other question would be is this going to be a temporary fix as the real issue has not been addressed, why did do it in the 1st place, glad you've sorted yours
