I really wish I could turn back time and undo the frickin' damage I have done to my £800 S9+
I implore people to wait - as the One UI/Pie update I downloaded and installed last night is horrendous!!!
Issues noticed within 12 hours of the update.

I just wrote a huge post listing all the issues with the new update. Like the phone, the forum seems to be buggy and my post has vanished. So I'll keep this short - One UI/Pie has ruined my £800/$1,000 S9+
Camera, menus, multiscreen, keyboard, nav menu, widgets - all broken. Pretty pissed off.

Hi @I_Hate_Bixby Multiple edits in a short space of time meant that your first post fell foul of the auto-spam filter. I've fished it out of the quarantine and merged it with your later post.

I wonder - as my less than 1 year old 'phone is now pretty much knackered by Samsung theselves - did they invalidate their own warrenty? As such - does anyone know if they'd be legally liable to give me back the full price I paid for this thing? I mean - *they* broke it with their update. It's no longer doing what it was advertised being capable of doing. I bought it based on hundreds of reviews. Now - I would not buy it and wait for the latest Pixel perhaps...
Samsung - will you ever respond to the complaints?!?!

I wonder, did you try a factory reset? I have an S9+ myself and I really don't have any bugs. True some features have changed but if I'm honest, I find it a major improvement over what it was.
Personally I really appriciate the design direction, its focussed on "What matters" at the exact moment. Another thing if the new design direction is that its intention is to be slightly cleaner to year eyes and that the things that you need are closer to the bottom of the page (Making it easier to touch).
That said, tastes might always differ and there will always be people that don't like a design chance - I'm however glad that they did.

I agree with most of your gripes and also have my own, which changed with the oreo update. Its the notification counters(badges) Why make them disappear when clearing the notifications from the top? At least give us the option to keep badges as have always been able to do.
Also when closing apps, it is almost like an iphone now with having to swipe them away upwards now.
Kill off the bixby button no one likes it!!!
I complained about the update a couple of days after i got it with it being laggie and slow, only to be told that i need to shut apps down properly...i know iv had galaxy s phones since the 1st one. Im not stupid!
Samsung has seemed to have turned into a dictatorship of company that tells its customers to do what they think is best.
Listen to your customers please.
