Cracked camera glass repair?

A small, horizontal, edge to edge hairline crack suddenly appeared on the camera glass of my Galaxy S9+, I never dropped or put pressure on the phone. It wasn't there yesterday and I was at home all day today. Would repairing this be covered under warranty as it's clearly not caused by a drop? If not, how much would it cost? I tried googling and it seems like the camera glass cracking is a big problem.

Yours isn't the first post I seen about this situation @visionary

Unfortunately proving it wasn't accidental damage isn't going to be easy , and as such this would in my opinion not be covered under the 24 month manufacturing warranty but instead classed as accidental damage.

To get an official decision and costing you would need to let a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre take a look to assess the damage and then they'll give a costing.

Sometimes it can be beneficial to look at any Household Contents Insurance and or some Bank Accounts provide mobile phone cover as a perk of the account.

T&C's and excess fee's would need to be checked.
