Connecting phone to car

My galaxy s9+ connects to my  car the phone part works but the media doesn't work but my iPhone worked and my husband galaxy s7 plus but mine doesn't could someone help

What type of connection are you using, e.g. Bluetooth or USB?

I have sorted it now I had to turn off the NFC and samsung pay

I have the same problem. I'm trying to play media in the car using the usb cable like I always did with my iphone but it doesn't work. I turned off NFC and deleted Samsung Pay as suggested but it still doesn't work.

I connected mine using Bluetooth

I think you should reset the audio system in your car. The same thing I've experienced in the Toyota Prius when connecting it with the bluetooth system

Only problem is bluetooth streamed music sounds absolutely terrible.

Having just bought a new S9 plus and not being able to use Tidal or any phone related USB connection may just force me back to apple
