Hi,
This topic concerns both the S8 and S9, but this only started happening once my S8 had updated to Oreo.
When playing Spotify over bluetooth to my car's onboard bluetooth receiver (BMW) the quality of the audio will become muffled after some time (approx 15mins). I can fix this by switching to DAB and then back to Bluetooth, but simply pausing the song does not work. This happens on the S8 and S9.
Any ideas why this started developing when Oreo was introduced?
Thanks.

Hi @Norco321. Does this happen when using the stock Samsung Music app too?

Hi, I didn't have any music to play via the Samsung music player so I tried Google Play Music.
Unfortunately it still happened with Play Music but what I did notice is that if I skip tracks or pause before it's gone into bad quality mode, it takes longer. So it needs continuous streaming over 15-20mins to enter bad quality mode, at which point it stays in until the bluetooth connection is reset. It's almost like it's throttling the quality to maintain the connection or something.

Hi @Norco321. Do you have any other apps running in the background? I'm just wondering if your RAM is being used up resulting in the bad quality over-time.

I may have some that are used as widgets - I could check my RAM usage when it happens to see for sure.
Has this not been seen by anybody else?

I haven't seen this issue before, @Norco321.
