Guessing i am asking the same q lots of others have when Andorod 11 will arrive on S9. I have just spoken to support and they offered me 10% off a new phone today  so I am guessing S9 is now dead.

Is not on the android 11
Upgrade list

When on the samsung members page and click on the bell icon at the top of the page notices it will give you more info of eligible phones for android 11

If you really want android 11 on the S9, you can flash a custom ROM on it. Just Google 'How to flash Custom ROM for S9 (model no.)' and look on xda developers, as well as reputable YouTube tutorials. Stay safe!

@D-a-v-e: Our phones will typically receive software updates for 2 years from the release date. As the Galaxy S9 launched with Android 8, it is only supported up to Android 10, and isn't scheduled to receive the Android 11 update via the official channels. Please exercise caution if you choose to install an unofficial software version, as this can create compatibility and performance issues in some instances, and will void your warranty.
