when iam using whatsapp or calling with thirdparty apps like imo with bluetooth headphone, the phone' internal mic is working instead of bluetooth headphone's mic, other end could hear my voice,

but

if i hold and close the phone's internal mic with my finger the other end could not hear my voice,

It works only for traditional voice calls. When you use any app that record audio/video, even Whatsapp voice or video call, bluetooth microphone doens't work.

Update: finally it was a problem with microphone. I have a new one and everything works well: calls, apps, WhatsApp calls, etc.

I have the exact same problem with my Samsung S10 + a brand new pair of Jabra 75t. I bought the new earbuds, thinking the issue was on my previous headset... but it seems it's an Android issue!

Did anyone find a solution?

Thanks!

There is no problem with the phone or the bluetooth set ..

The conflict is that when you use the bluetooth set for calling, it is working fine .. but when you send a voice message by Whatsapp or any equivalent apps you must speak with your phone microphone (just because you have to push and hold the voice message recording button).

I am having the same issue. Example, when I record a video, the Bluetooth microphone will not pick up my volume.

Is there a way to use the Bluetooth microphone while using the phone's video recorder?

I can't help, sorry. But I have the same issue.

Since a few weeks, it just stopped working.

Microphone works fine during calls, but not with Teams, Zoom, Whatsapp, video, etc. Nothing...

Even not in the car. Worked for years!

I did a hardreset, returned to factory settings. Nothing helped.

Want to a Samsung Service Point. At first they acted that was a new issue. None of the guys working there ever used a bluetooth device! So funny, they have to repair phones, but have never used bluetooth...

Finally they tested and confirmed my issue. Then they used their magic tool: google....

Looked like they had searched for this issue before. Even on the search term "galaxy bluetooth microphone" Google showed dozens of pages with only issues with bluetooth devices and Galaxy phones.

Finally they admitted this is a known problem. They have no idea how to fix it. The guy said: "As you can see, you are not the first and while certainly not be the last... ". And his famous last words: "Sorry, can't help. Next please!"

Looks like my next phone is not a Samsung...

Update: in my case it was a problem with microphone. The new one is working. So, check your hardware.

A little different scenario but yes.  I set up my mother's hearingaids with bluetooth.  She hears great but during calls no one can hear her because the Samsung 52 5G mic doesn't work.  I am so upset because I checked with the Samsung salesperson before I purchased the phone and they assured me it would be fine.
