You clearly got a problem to your device. Bring it to a samsung assistance service and explain the problem they should flash the softwsre update for you, act quickly before warranty expires

Did you try using Smart Switch on your PC to see if you can update it manually? You can download it from Samsung Website for Windows or Mac. Updating your firmware to the newest one would change your version number to G965FXXU9ETF5.

Are you comfortable with using Odin and flashing firmware? You could do that too but its more risky :smiling-face:

Kind Regards

Oh yes it does, they usually are not ablento spot it but flashing it with anything else than smartswitch is warranty void

This comes from a 6 years android modder, inform yourself before doing flashing procedures

6 years? so you are still a newbie? If you do not mess with OEM your warranty is OK. Knox doesn't get tripped. You should also understand it is simple to use Odin. By the way, stop trying to be smart, it is possible to reply without sarcasm. It doesn't make you look smart. Incidentally there may only be weeks of warranty left and Samsung stores are few in the UK.

Potentially. Which is why the official line is to have it carried out by an approved Samsung Support Centre.

Obviously up to members to  make  their own decision in the end,  however personally I would  also not recommend  flashing due to the risk involved.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
