One UI beta. UK S9 version.

Will the beta only work with BTU or XEU versions of the phones software? Tried looking and cannot find anything on this? Tia

It was reported on sammobile that this was announced on samsung members app but I can't find it, sick of waiting, I took part in the s8 beta and would love to do it with s9 😘

According to online info the Beta us due later in November and in certain countries.

Is for the UK so a person would need to check their own countries Samsung Help pages for participation.

I've heard that it'll be available from the 15th for applicants but the 20th for the download. I took part in the S7 beta but my phone had to be BTU.

Thanks. So I guess that even if you have the BTU, H3G, or even XEU CSC versions of the phones then it doesn't matter. Took part in the S7 beta a couple of years ago and you had to have BTU for it to work but there's no mention of it this time round.

This is what I've found out about the beta testing programme.... please do not troll me I'm sharing this info I got from tech support at Samsung.

The One UI Beta Programme is owned, managed and operated by Samsung independently in order to provide better experience and reliable software based on user feedback. To join the beta testing you will need to download the “Samsung Members” app from the Galaxy Apps or Play Store. Then submit the “Galaxy Beta Program” application form through “Registration of One UI Beta Program” in the notice. As long as customers meet all the participation criteria, the registration process will be completed.
