So, last night I got the new One UI 2.0 update and it has just destroyed my S9.

It is so bad that I'm considering factory resetting it and losing all I have.

What can I do? Can I just "undo" this terrible update?

Thanks!

You are unable to roll back firmware via using your phones settings @mrjaimerox

What issues are you experiencing  ?

It can take a little while for the phone to fully index after such a large update.

Going into Safe Mode which disables any downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones Live will help determine if one of more of your downloaded apps are not properly optimised yet.

Known troubleshooting methods are....

1. Make sure all your apps are up to date.

2. Turn the phone Off and On to soft reboot.

3. Turn the phone off and then from a set series of button presses go into the phones system files and clear the cache. No info is lost this way.

4. As a very last resort back up and factory reset after removing any relevant Sd card.

Your information won't be lost as long as you back up to Samsung Cloud etc.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
