Guess this is a common issue..

Microphone does work but really weak. When doing a call in any app it actually works when in speaker mode. Tapping on the microphone while in normal call mode it will transmit static.

I've tried the common stuff like safe mode and the bixby shutdowns and cache wiping of different apps..

Actually I think this started after I cleaned my phone due to covid19..

So That's a non abrasive liquid as it's  obviously for spectacles.

Did you spray some on a cloth or direct onto the pjone which could of then got into the ports.

No I sprayed the phone so it could have affected the the most microphone but I don't get why it still works in speaker mode!

Actually the problem was solved after applying an update. Now 7 months later the problem resurfaced! Guess I have to wait for the next update!

I solved mine by going into sound settings, adapt sound, then chose 30 - 60 yrs old.

Sorry to say it doesn't change anything regarding the microphone. I tried to dial *#0238* and in the loopback test SPK_2ndMic it actually echoes back what I say. But in the first test it doesn't echo.
