Is there anyway to actually have Mute ACTUALLY be Mute? I've gon through every setting, yet when I put my S25 Ultra on Mute, I STILL get system vibrations like its a baked in bug. No matter what I do, the only way to fix it is to go into setting and turn of ALL vibrations, regardless of my sound profile being 'Mute' "Vibrate" or "Sound." What is the point of having a 'Mute' and 'Vibrate' function if they have LITERALLY no difference? Vibrate keeps my notification sounds off but still vibrates the phone, whereas Mute does the *exact same thing.* its getting so frustrating to the point that if this doesn't have a solution im switching back to iPhone where I dont have to claw and scratch my way through settings to not have a loud vibration. It's crazy that this is even a problem on a 1200 dollar phone. Fix this scamsung.

Do not disturb
And Or
Create Modes and Routines routine to disable/enable vibrations
Or
....

Do Not Disturb does NOT work. In fact I have in enabled as i am typing this, I am also getting notifications that are vibrating my phone. This should not be such a problem. Secondly, modes and routines does not work either, as there is no option to disable vibration in modes and routines, only sound mode to 'Mute,' which as we discussed, is useless. And lastly, should I even *have to* do all of the modes and routines in order to have a functioning MUTE sound scape on my phone. Scamsung needs a fix ASAP or im done with this company. Atleast on my old iPhone I could just press a button and not worry about it. Now I've spent 1200 and am fighting my phone to just shut it up. Ridiculous.

everything is enabled and sound mode is off yet i still cannot turn off vibrations. Horrendous user experience.

And if I disable Media under "Alarms and Sound" it disables even my Bluetooth music audio, which is an extreme oversight. There is no foreseeable way to disable vibration like a normal phone should from where I stand.

Well, that's android for us all. Not just Samsung as you seem to think. In any case wishing you find the solution for your apparent conundrum
And to add that DND works for me with no vibrations. But that's just my setup

Okay so, what exactly *is* the difference between 'Vibrate' and 'Mute' then? Because from what I can tell, there's no real difference? Vibrate, as it sounds, turns off my notification sounds, and allows the vibration in my pocket. However, when I put my sound profile to Mute, it mutes my sound, but still allows for my notification vibration to go through. If these two are correct, which in my case, they are, then what is the difference between them?
How is your DND setup configured in order for your vibrations to be nulled? Can you share? From what I'm finding, either no one else can fix this and it is just a 'quirk of android' or I have a faulty device.
I got this phone for the convenience and customization that samsung offers, yet I cannot have a simple On/Off function for such a fundamental aspect of a handheld device. It just seems wrong and a backwards way of integrating a function if the function does not -function-

Dude, I know how to put my phone on mute, im not a toddler. Thats what this entire thing is about. The fact that mute and vibration has NO difference. My phone is on Mute, on DND. I know how to configure settings. This isn't my first time using technology. It's a phone. But the fact that I'm getting in academic trouble because my phone goes BZ BZ BZ BZ BZ while I'm in my college class and there is *no way to turn off vibrations* unless I want to completely disable all system vibration in my deep settings, which, if I am to do that, WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A MUTE AND VIBRATE OPTION.
Thank you for inquiring to help. I am extremely frustrated with scamsung and will be returning this piece of shi phone within the week. All I wanted was the ability to tell my phone to shut up while I'm taking a test and it is INCAPABLE of doing so. This is a liability and a major problem. I have configured every setting on my phone. Mute, Do not Disturb. It's gotten to the point where I just turn off my phone now. Which defeats the whole purpose of having a phone that can do as advertised by scamsung.
Scamsung needs to get their shi together if they want a penny more from me. I'm getting my money back and never touching a horrible android scamsung ever.
