Timer and alarm....sometime sound, sometimes no sound

My timer and alarm isn't always working. 

My timer finishes as normal but no sound comes from it when the notification alarm sound is on and music has been associated with it. The same happens to the alarm clock. I've watched many YouTube and it tells me to go into notifications, then do not disturb, then apps to clear the data and cache. Still doesn't work. I've powered off and then on & there is sound to the timer and the alarm but that lasts for about an hour or two & then it goes silent again.

Hi guys, so I've been looking this timer not sounding problem online, and that's how I got to this page, and since it didn't seem that anyone has a working solutions yet so far here, I would share what just worked for me.

So, in my case, turned out that I had the "clock" app put under "sleeping apps". So as a result, after setting up timer and turning off the screen, sleeping apps would be prevented from running in background, and it would not sound when the time was up. So, I removed the "clock" app from the "sleeping apps" and the timer has been sounding all the time since.

(Go to: Settings - Device Care - Battery - Background usage limits - ... then check all sleeping/deep sleeping apps, remove "clock" app from sleeping/deep sleeping)

Also, I did some more to make sure it won't sleep in background, by setting the "clock" app battery usage to "unrestricted" to make sure it can run on background.

Just recently, this is happening to my S20Fe. All of a sudden, I noticed my timer not going off. It stops but doesnt go off. I tried then it will go off at random time. But alarms are working fine. Already tried and checked details mentioned above, even tried dowloading a different app. But the same issue.

I have the same problem no Audible alarm for my timer.  Come on Samsung please fix this issue!
