Hi all not happy with s25 base model battery usage awful on one ui7 I feel bad now i got it on contract and its been a week before 2 week window cooling off period 

I do not know what to do 

I would of got plus model but its do ***** heavy


Please comment respectfully not rudely thanks

The benefits of a cooling off period. Only you can decide though.

As with all Samsung devices, it does go through a learning cycle ref battery but from my own experiences what I've had in the first few days is generally what the device keeps moving forwards.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

All down to your personal preference. Look up some comparison videos and decide

Sorry you have had a not great experience.

I wonder how bad is bad ? Like what kind of SOT you are getting on your S25 base.

There is always a chance that there is some reason why the battery is not great. What is the highest use app in your battery list ?

Additionally sometimes using smart switch can cause some incompatible apps being installed and causing a draining effect.

If you can afford to then i would backup only your essential photos, contacts etc to the google account and then do a full factory reset to wipe the phone, and install apps from scratch... rather than smart switching them across.

It is your choice how far you decide you want to go with investigating the battery issues.

I hope you can find a good reason why this is happening.

@sarasphotoboxYou could try a Reset after Backing up as suggested and see if that makes a difference. Would be interesting to see the stats though. Think your Battery life would improve a but after the learning phase in any case. Is there a noticeable difference with your previous device?

Of course if you are thinking of returning only a limited window, the base model does not have the most powerful Battery, I think you would get used to the Plus in time. There are limited compact options. Would you be interested at all in Flip Devices otherwise though modern S Devices I think are superior?

Hi,

I would do a reset.  I wouldn't do any data restore except contacts, messages and pictures. No apps or settings configurations.

It should help...

I havent reset it yet I spoke to my network provider its hugely expensive the contract double the current price of my s25 base model contract.

Screen time is just over 3 hours and 34 minutes. My old s23 base model didn't have issues at this instance baring in mind I didn't have a huge update the day I got the phone so not sure if its the one ui 7
