I transferred my private photos into a secure folder gallery to keep them secure. I upgraded to S25 ultra and I was worried about not losing the photos. I checked after transferring my old one to a new S25 Ultra. Now today I checked all my photos and were disappeared. Like WTF. Where it went?. Can anyone explain?

Still have the old phone?
manually move files out of the Secure Folder, transfer them to the new phone, and then move them back into the Secure Folder if desired

My dates were all transferred and now the folder is empty. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Do you still have the pictures in the phone you transferred from? You can transfer again via smart switch, Bluetooth or data cable. Is rare that Smart Switch gives errors, but it can happen.
Please leave feedback for Samsung Customer Service on the Help Page because they need to be aware of this in case this is caused by a bug.

When you transferred the photos from main gallery it automatically delete it from the main galaxy and transferred into secure folder. Seriously this is absolutely shame for samsung

I never made a secure folder but I have made folders and now those photos are in the main gallery and in the new folder as well, which is not really what I expected, because if I transferred them to a new folder, that is the whole point of making a new folder for those photos, and not to have copies of them everywhere so I hope they will fix this. I understand your disappointment and where you are coming from. Do you have One Drive account and Google account? I have found pictures there that I thought lost , some that I have deleted I found on those accounts. Tbh Google did not ask for permission to save them, they were just there, might be worth a look.

The only way to transfer secure folder contents is to take them out first and then move accross. Been like that for last couple of years

Which makes sense. Secure.

Secure folder isn't that secure if you lose anything you had in it because the folder doesn't backup and move across to a new device.
