S25 ultra no option to to stop the phone vibrating whilst in silent

I have no option to stop the phone from vibrating in silent mode. I checked under sound settings and accessibility, even searched for the option, but it's simply not there. It's like Samsung has removed the option, forcing everyone to have their phone vibrate no matter what. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

If your Samsung S25 Ultra is vibrating even when in silent mode, it likely means you have specific app notifications set to vibrate even when the phone is on silent, or you might need to check your vibration settings within the "Sounds and Vibration" menu to ensure all vibration options are turned off for silent mode.

How to fix:

Check app notifications:

Go to Settings > Notifications.

Select the app that might be causing the vibration.

Ensure the "Allow notifications" option is toggled on, and check if "Vibrate" is turned off.

Adjust system vibration settings:

Go to Settings > Sounds and vibration.

Check if "Vibrate on silent" is turned off.

You can also adjust vibration intensity for different notification types like calls, messages, and system sounds.

Did you disable all the system vibrations?

None of the options available to the S25 Ultra is any different from the older S series in OneUI 6 when it comes to sound and vibrations.

Also I see you haven't enabled silent in call vibration.

There's options to silent call vibrations, did you change this? Same goes for notifications, I noticed from your screenshots, neither are set to silent.

it stays set to silent When I change it back to loud, the vibration is either on or off, regardless of my phone's sound profile.

I am having the same issue. None of the suggestions below are working. I did not have this problem with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus. Now I have the S25 ultra. I do not want text message notifications at night, only phone calls to come through. The text notifications still vibrate. I am using Google messaging, and there is not a way to turn off only the sound.

@MWip: Please can you try heading to Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb > Allowed during Do not disturb > Calls and messages > Also allow > Calls > Choose from the available options (All / Contacts only / Favourite contacts only).

You have the option of manually enabling Do not disturb before you go to bed, or using the 'Add schedule' setting to enable/disable the feature at a given time. This should hopefully prevent any unwanted notifications from reaching you, while still allowing calls to come through.

Yes, it looks like that will work.  Thanks so much!
