I just got a s25 ultra, the first ultra i ever had but... how do I change the language of the system form english to italian? Cuz like some settings did traslate to italian but other didnt and everything else is in english

Hi, first of all, open the Settings app. Tap on General management, then select Language. Tap Add language. If Italian isn't listed, scroll to find it and select it.

Thats exactly what i did but it dosent work at all

Do you also have "English" as a second language in the "Language" submenu accessed via general management?

I have no other languages

Have you tried rebooting your Galaxy?

Hi, The device has a lock icon in the status part on the left. Could you check in the notification panel if it has some particular notifications which explains better the icon?

Also can you share a picture of the Software Information which you can see in Settings -> Phone Information -> Software Information

The device is a Galaxy S25 Ultra from Canada. Its hardware and software are specific to the Canadian Market and the device shouldn't be sold in the rest of the world. Country-specific models tend to have only a selected set of languages which can be used. On the other hand International models, or models which are shared between countries which speak different languages, tend to have the compatibility with all the languages. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. As the phone says only some apps might use Italian. The best thing to do, if you need the Italian language, is to return the product and buy it again as a new device from a trustworthy shop like Samsung Shop Italy or on Amazon.it making sure the seller is Amazon Italia.

Its a gift that my father got me from there, so there is no way to put it in the language i want?
