I am offering more UI suggestions that can make the One UI even more unique among android skins.
1. Notification icons on status bar can use cube transitions (e.g when you delete an email, rather than the icon just dissappearing, a subtle cube transition can be applied and the other icons left move with a slick animation, the same can be applied when icons for notifications are to be added to the status bar)
2. Make the network bars and wifi signal icon thicker and be more proportional to the battery
3. All dialogs should have a consistent feel and use more blur and not solid color.
4. I have never been the fan of Samsung's colour pallette theming. it doesn't go beyond a few items. I think Google has a better implementation and Samsung should do the same. Wallpaper dynamically theming app menus and background of native apps and settings page would make OS feel more consistent and personal.
5. Use AI to make applying colour pallette theming of icons be system wide and uniform even for app icons that would otherwise not be themed (Google is implementing this as well). This should cover icons beyond the app drawer and even for those which are only displayed on context menus.
6. Use of third party custom fonts should be made relatively easy.
7. Use contextual gradient in One UI's now bar and status bar pills along with filled progress bar. This will give the OS more unique feel.
8. The weather app (loving the new look) is too lacking and I am not a fan (not sure if anyone is) of being sent to a website when trying to get more details.
9. Add more clock styles and freedom to separate the widgets (natively, not via goodluck) from the lockscreen clock.
10. More lockscreen wallpaper styles should be added.
11. Had a sneak peak of One UI 8.5, I believe the floating menus can be further minimized when scrolling pages (gallery and settings) and once stopped can be expanded manually or automatically when there is no content behind the menu.
12. Provide option to have floating menus with or without text/label.
