I'm trying to manually back up all the albums in secure folder so I have to move them out of secure folder. (I also have to rename them or theyll get merged into albums with the same name and then I'll have to spend hours sorting through all my albums). On my phone I can view the photos fine. But after I've moved the albums to my pc they are always empty so the photos in my secure folder can only ever be viewed on this device and I have to keep it for the rest of my life.
Is this another bug in secure folder ? Or a massive oversight ?
Have I missed something ? I gotta be doing something wrong surely ?

If you hold and click on the files- click 3 dots and then click "move out of secure folder" it should then move to the regular storage on your phone- then try transferring to the pc from outside of secure folder

Unless youve already done this?

I don't use windows either but wouldn't mind betting that the same thing would happen.

How do you mean ? As I said in the first post moving albums out of secure folder and onto my desktop or a hard drive (so the os I use on on pc is not relevant) results in empty folders.
I have not tried moving individual photos from the folders once they are out of secure folder I guess I could try that.
But basically it's like a bug where they are still treated the same as they were when they were in secure folder.

You moved the folders onto your phone first (out of the secure folder) . Do images show within those folders? You said that copying folders with images doesn't work. So, if you select all the images within the folder and then copy them, wherever, does it work

Yes I have said twice now that I moved the folders out of secure folder and then onto a pc and a hard drive the folders are empty although I can view them when on the phone and not in secure folder. I will try opening the folder and highlighting all the pics and moving them that way when I am back home as I said earlier
