Data backup issues

Anyone else having issues with Data Backup? Almost 2 weeks into my S25 Ultra and I'm finding that Apps don't appear to be backing up. Call logs, Calendar etc no problem but after 3-4 minutes I get notification that Apps couldn't back up. Only appears to be Samsung backup as Google backup is fine. Additionally the Samsung backup isn't automatically backing up daily as I believe it is meant to? Have done Soft Reset and removed account etc.Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey, mine seems to have started working. I kinda just signed out of my Samsung account on my phone and linked it again. Not sure if this helped but I started a backup, canceled it, backups said none, did a backup again, seems to work ever since

I'm seeing the exact same thing. The daily auto backup seems to be broken in oneui 7. Manually triggering it works fine though. I can only assume it'll be fixed eventually. Brand new phone, brand new os, yet to have its first update

And yes I know how it works, it worked fine on my s22, I've not changed how I charge. Saying as someone will probs reply with tips to charge over night and use wifi. That's not the issue here

Thanks for your reply. Manually triggering the backup isn't working for me, everything backs up apart from Apps, I get the message Data couldn't backup 🤷, hopefully a fix will be out in the coming months. I logged a technical issue report.

Have you tried opening the app settings for "Samsung cloud" and making sure all permissions are allowed? Worth a look

Thanks for your reply, yes, I have checked that, I'm slightly reassured that I don't appear to be the only person affected, and hopefully it's just a temporary glitch with One UI7🤞

Yes I am also having this exact same issue. It won't backup overnight and refuses to backup over WiFi just saying it failed (tried several different locations/routers too). Luckily there is the option to backup via mobile data so I am having to manually do this each day. Clearly an issue that needs to be fixed soon because how few people know their phone isn't being backed up!

Exact same problem with S25 Plus since day 1. Google backup is fine. I have the AT&T model with Active Armor so when I disable that I can manually backup but not auto backup. Of course, I can manually backup with mobile data too, but that's ridiculous to have to do that. I hope Samsung gives us a fix soon.
