S25 ultra not connecting audio on Bluetooth to car unless I fully turn off Bluetooth manually in phone then back on

Likely a problem with Bluetooth cache
Clear Bluetooth cache:
• Go to your phone settings > Apps > Bluetooth.
• Select "Storage" and tap "Clear Cache"

If youre able. Clear the Bluetooth cache in the cars software too

I had this exact problem, i did a quick Google search and found it was in my car Bluetooth settings that had turned audio off as default. Which makes calls only.

It's never done this before with any other phones

Yeah same here, i was confused for a day or 2 till I searched online and found it was in my car Bluetooth setting as I had to delete the old paired device and pair the new phone again and it switched off audio playback as default.

What was the fix then. I've just tried setting Bluetooth to unrestricted on battery top see if they helps

I think since the s20 ultra I have not been able to automatically play audio on my car bluetooth, I have to go into media output on the phone and select the car, even then it can be iffy in terms of getting the timing right, and I have to turn my bluetooth off and back on. Audio plays automatically with non samsung phones so I ended up resetting my car media player to factory settings but still have to go through the same thing process. I also put bluetooth on unrestricted, but no difference

HI, I recently get the S25 Ultra, with android 15, my car is a Ford Explorer 2015 with SYNC radio, the bluetooth only connects for calls, but when I try to enable the media output I get the conection error. Notice that with my previous mobile ( Note 10 plus I don't have any issues about it ) I tested with other mobiles too and the only problem is with the new S25.

I too am having BT issues.   It will not connect automatically to my Jenson CAR1000 unit.  I have to manually select CAR1000 on my mobile to get it to connect.   Then it only sometimes connects to my Motorola C307 android auto wireless adaptor.   I also cannot get it to connect with my Galaxy watch 5.

I have reset my BT and emptied the cache.   It still does not connect.   I am loathe to fully reset the mobile due to the pain of re-initializing every app.

I saw in one of the posts that there is some software update pending on this issue.    Is this true?
