I bought it of a 3rd party seller on amazon called only branded, but they recently changed their name to E Links

OK. That is a risk from buying via Amazon Marketplace, you don't actually know where the device originated from which, for mobile devices causes issues.

This is why we keep asking on here where was the device bought from. (we don't mean the country, we mean the seller lol)

It's usually best if you buy it directly from Samsung UK or Curry's, argos any of the trusted sites. We usually see people buying their devices elsewhere like Amazon or ebay, not knowing if its a UK handset. Some then end up having issues with software updates not having the latest updates and out of date security updates.
