Hi, I'm unable to add British postcode to samsung wallet, so it doesn't let me add my debit card. I have checked some settings to see if the region or something like that wrong but found nothing wrong.

Just to ask, is it a new phone bought in the UK from a UK company?

If so can you take a look in your settings menu under [about phone- software information].

This gives the country specific code. As my example below.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing not UK software. Can this be changed. I'm only having problems with Samsung wallet.1752646540404.jpg

This looks to be a device for the US Market and AT&T in particular which may explain why you're unable to use Samsung Wallet.

Maybe use Google Wallet
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

It seems the XAA region for country specific codes is from the USA region.

There are a few issues with this.

1) it is highly likely you will not get any software updates as the phone is not in the region it was intended.

2) pay services may not work.

3) 5G services in the USA have different configuration in the mm wave frequencies and operation.

Is it new (to you). Did you buy it from backmarket or another reseller of used handsets ?

You may get better success by using google pay instead of samsung pay, but as I mention above... there may be other issues along the way.

In terms of reflashing the phone with a different firmware, I am not experienced in this and although it may be possible, it is not a task that is either recommended by samsung, or to be taken by a user without experience. It will also cause security issues with Samsung knox, and ruin any warranty the phone may have.

If it is possible the best course of action here is to return it to the retailer for an exchange / replacement.
