So went to update my Samsung account with my new email address. Changed with no problem and no warning to say changing would delete anything.

When trying to use Samsung Pass all details and passwords have been deleted showing nothing. 

Why does it not just change the email address and not delete everything. As I understand it I cannot retrieve anything as it now states my account under the old email address does not exist.

Why changing an email id deletes an account is crazy. 1: I am logged in using my details and biometrics so how can it be someone else to justify the need to delete everything. 

I thought Samsung was at the forefront of technology!!!

Hi

It's for security.

I would have presumed that your email is your account for Samsung.

You could try checking if you have anything saved under your Google account.
