QR Code Reader Button

This button has disappeared from my quick selection screen and disappeared from the full list of ones I can select. Can someone advise how I can get it back? It does still, and always has, been visible at the top right of the list of WIFI 'sites in range' screen. Although why it appears here doesn't make sense to me.

It appears in the wifi section because scanning a qr code to quickly enter a WiFi password is really common.

As for normal use, the camera app should automatically do it. Make sure "scan qr codes" is enabled in camera settings and it'll auto scan anything it sees.

For qr codes on screen, ai select should do it, though I think that might only work on ultra devices. I believe circle to search can scan on screen qr codes, that should work on most devices.

Yes, I I have activated the reader in the camera app but preferred using the button shortcut. Last night when I read your reply I found that the button had reappeared and I put it back on the top line of my selected buttons. This afternoon the button had disappeared again and cannot be reselected. What is happening SAMSUNG?

It appears for me. So try this. Swipe from the top to open the menu thingy, press the pen, press add a control at the bottom. Does scan qr code appear in there for you?

Yes that is what I have been doing to edit and try to add the QR Code button. But guess what. I just saw the QR symbol in the top left buy the time and when I went back to look at my selected top line buttons, beside WiFi and mobile data, it had reappeared by itself!
