The phone can heat up for a variety of reasons including using power intensive applications, mulitasking and having a lot of apps running on the background, using a large amount of data for syncing.
However if it is excessive with the camera likely tom be software related, best to report via the Members App-Support-Send Feedback.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Has your device ever got so hot using your camera @GoanGeek that you get the on screen warning followed by the device shutting down?. If not, you may find it running cooler as you use your camera more as your device is still new. Recording 4K video sounds like what it needs to bed in. Should your device repeatedly shutdown however, I would consider getting it looked at. Good luck to you @GoanGeek.

Then again I am more of a picture guy then video.
But I really want to try to shoot 4k now as it's available on all lenses.
Just deed a 4k running video in park just now and that footage as stable as it gets. I'm blown away.
I'll probably give Samsung time to iron out the glitches.
Also noticed the 3x camera gathers a lot of gives washed muted photos. Something to look out for.
Love the 1x ,3x and 5x lenses though as they are more usable then the s21 ultra ones.

I have the same issue on my OnePlus 12, i think it's an issue with the Gen 3 chip.

I'm sure Samsung will fix in a software update as they did for the s21 ultra.
The s21 ultra has to be my favourite till date.
It was perfect with regards to the design and everything else.
I do find the s24 ultra lens combo more useful though and 4k recording on all lenses is cool.
