Honest thoughts? Considering this is a Beta, I'm extremely impressed with the responsiveness, battery life, and smoothness of the firmware overall. Android has clearly come a long way, and it shows in all of the design choices that Samsung have chosen to adopt this time around. I definitely think there are some design elements that can be scaled slightly better, as with anything, but considering this is a Beta for the time being, it's impressively complete.
Aero Glass vibes or what?!
I must admit, from the second I opened the new Recents pane, I've just been in love with flicking back and forth between apps. Hit WIN+TAB on any Windows 7 PC and you'll see why!
The new Recents switcher is absolutely stunning!
It's been a long time since Samsung have implemented a design feature that I've actually been truly excited about! The fluidity and responsiveness of the new switcher is just phenomenal, and it looks stunning too!
Quality of life improvements? It's obviously no secret that Android 15 isn't, as a platform, or experience, much different from 14, and from test driving different devices from time to time, nothing showcased this fact more than the Pixel devices, it was as if there wasn't even an update in the first place. But I really like what Samsung are doing here, by implementing subtle design changes that address the pain points I had with the previous version. It's very nice to see that some care and attention has gone into the design language here, despite the extended wait to see the results.
Conclusion; I'm really enjoying the experience so far! It's fantastic. Let me know your thoughts too.
