So I am trading in my S24 Ultra for the S25 Ultra. Why? 

I was convinced the S25 will be better overall then my S24 Ultra. 😕

Same here. Upgrading from the S24 Ultra to the S25 Ultra, just for the camera experience although I understand the hardware hasn't changed for the cameras except for the ultrawide. I had really hoped the camera issues would have been fixed by Q3 last year and the update never came. Its such a shame as the Ultra is their flagship and Samsung could have done better.

Anyway, the photo quality should be better on the S25 Ultra with the various upgrades. Here's hoping I'm right.

With the AI and preorder deals, you can't go wrong. Although they have been better in previous years.

Approx £550 cost to change with my S24U trade in..... and all this for the camera?
Yes I get some ear buds3 except I already own a pair of buds3 pro.
I'll keep my current S24U for another year especially as my mobile is working without issue.

I mean it's just not the camera.

1. The elite chip is expensive and future-proof.
2.Yes the Ultra wide Camera and potentially better macros.
3. Improved video.
4. The Screen as been improved over the s24 series.
5. Better AI both ON and OFf devices.
5.Log Video and processing.

There's is a lot if you look into it.

Yes! It's mostly software based and how much it trickles down to other phones is the big question.

Then again as I always say. Your money your decision the S24 ultra is still a stellar phone.

My 4 Year old S21 Ultra is still a Stellar phone .

I bought my 24U to replace a 22U and the difference in spec for me justified the cost. My view is the 26U should bring a significant uplift. You are right about whose cash is being spent and for me the money is avaible but the 24U is such a great device and I'm not yet tired of it.
No doubt samsung will remind me constantly in the coming months and if the deal is to-be had, who knows but if not then jan 26 I'll be ordering a 26U. 😊
