This is not an S24 ultra exclusive issue. I've had issues with s10, s22, and now s24 wired charging port. I've done all the protective care and cleaning that all the bots will recommend.
The connection degrades over time.
after awhile on each phone I have to try harder and harder to get the cord to sit JUST right in the port to get it to charge. Very very frustrating. yes wireless charging works fine but I want to be able to plug in my phone sometimes...
I've done everything they've told me to do. I just need someone to reply yeah me too so I know I'm not the problem.

I have had a S24 Ultra since it was released and I have not faced your issue. I've been using wired charging most of the time. I think that I have used wireless charging 4 times max.
However, I did feel that the Samsung 45W charger its USB C cable was a bit loose on the connector. It could come off very easily.
Some other 3rd parties USB C cables did have the same issue.
Does your phone have the this issue with all cables or only the Samsung one? It could be that USB port is faulty. If it is, it should be fixed under warranty, the phone is not two year old yet.
