Fix the wired charging issue please

This is not an S24 ultra exclusive issue. I've had issues with s10, s22, and now s24 wired charging port. I've done all the protective care and cleaning that all the bots will recommend.

The connection degrades over time.

after awhile on each phone I have to try harder and harder to get the cord to sit JUST right in the port to get it to charge. Very very frustrating. yes wireless charging works fine but I want to be able to plug in my phone sometimes...

I've done everything they've told me to do. I just need someone to reply yeah me too so I know I'm not the problem.

I have had a S24 Ultra since it was released and I have not faced your issue. I've been using wired charging most of the time. I think that I have used wireless charging 4 times max.

However, I did feel that the Samsung 45W charger its USB C cable was a bit loose on the connector. It could come off very easily.

Some other 3rd parties USB C cables did have the same issue. 

Does your phone have the this issue with all cables or only the Samsung one? It could be that USB port is faulty. If it is, it should be fixed under warranty, the phone is not two year old yet.

So yes, you could say I've had a few Sammy devices and these are just in the last 4 years. I could go back further

Suspect you're being too heavy handed with them causing damage OR you're getting debris in the ports?

I've had a lot of Samsung devices over the years, never had an issue with the charging port.

USB C ports of course double up as headphone port as well and although I know use Buds 3 Pro (and have Buds 3) again have still not had an issue myself to date.

Ive got 3 months old 2 devices and cant charge on wire since August update. Both s25. One is charging now normally with wire the other wireless only. Its a software issue and I agree. Samsung should fix this as soon as possible

It has ruined my son a54 is well.
Because it cant be changed wirelessly we had to buy him new phone as it went dead.

Why not use a wired charger?

The A54 does not have wireless charging out of the box

Because after update showing moisture in the port. The phones are dry. Never had contact with water or anything. It happen right after update.

Argh ok sorry you didn't mention that on your earlier comment.

We find the moisture alert disappears after a few hours.....
