Anyone else had issues with their charging cable ?

I'll put the phone on charge overnight and the phone stop starts charging randomly

I've cleaned the port and the ends of the usb-c and still the same.

I'm thinking now invest in a decent wireless charger what would you lot recommend

Randomly reaching what percentage? Using Samsung or 3rd party charger. Did you try different cables. Try diagnostics via Samsung members app. And contact Samsung support if all fails. It should not be happening

It doesn't matter on the percentage it just randomly starts and stops charging
I'm using the original lead that came with the phone a few months ago

Please try a ugreen or anker charger and a different cable.

I use them and my charging has no issues.

I have the same issue. Am sat here now with my phone at 55% and have had to unplug and replug in my charging cable half a dozen times. Plug the cable in and it connects, starts to charge, then stops charging after about a minute.

Hi, @Wockeye. I appreciate what you mean, so I'd suggest that a short screen recording would better encapsulate the issue you've encountered:

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/record-and-capture-your-galaxy-phone-screen/

You could then attach this to the Error report.

In addition to what's already been suggested, I'd recommend performing a soft reset on your phone. This doesn't erase any data but it tends to solve an array of potential issues by giving your software a fresh start. To do this, press your Power and Volume Down keys together until you see the Samsung logo.

In this case, it would also be a good idea to Wipe the cache partition of your phone. This does not erase any essential data, but it can be a very useful step. The cache partition contains most of the temporary files, logs, and remembered bits from the various applications on your phone, so it is worthwhile clearing this periodically. The steps for clearing this are contained within the guide below (under the heading Clear the cache partition):

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/

You'll need to perform the steps while your phone is connected (via a USB-C cable) to a laptop, other USB-C compatible device (e.g. connecting a USB-C to USB-C cable from your phone to a phone or tablet), or a desktop PC.

It's also important to ensure that you download and install the latest software update for your phone:

Please update the thread to let us know when you get your phone charging as expected again.
