I bought a Smarttag 2. Now I want to create a routine that allows me to activate the lockdown mode by holding down. Does anyone know if this is possible/how I do this (without third-party apps)?
A Smarttag2 from Samsung is a Bluetooth tracker for finding objects within the Bluetooth reception range. This is basically paired via the smart Things app. - Do you mean the tracker or an NFC tag that can be programmed to lock your smartphone?
Hello Andi! I mean the function of the smart tag that you can trigger routines with button presses (double tap to make the phone ring). You can also select that actions are started with long press, such as turning lamps on and off in Smartthings.
Ah... OK... The "Find phone" function... Now I understand. - Unfortunately, the SmartTag2 is only compatible with Galaxy mobile devices and tablets that use the 'SmartThings' app. Only functions stored in the app can be controlled with it. (current status today) - I hope I have helped anyway.
I am aware of this. but in the app I can trigger routines. Now I want to create a routine that locks my phone (lockdown mode). In the next step I want to trigger this routine with the smart tag.
The function is not possible (in my routines) with the Smarttag2. ‐ Unfortunately, I do not know of a suitable third-party app with this function. ‐ Perhaps in future updates.
