Whatsapp Registration problem on new device

Hi,

My non-EU number  is working on WhatsApp messenger on my old device (Samsung note10). I recently bought a new S24 ultra device and am trying to register my WhatsApp on the new device. But when I try to generate registration code via SMS, it's not working. Three options I have tried:

1) Send code - Code from old device WhatsApp
Result: It shows on my old device that registration code is requested but it doesn't show any code

2) Send SMS

Result: It says we  couldn't send SMS, please try again after 1 hour

3) Call me

Result:  It says we  couldn't make call, please try again after 1 hour

I have tried these options multiple times since yesterday but nothing works. To be sure that everything works fine at my end. I took below steps:

  1. Make sure my sim is activated. I'm receiving all other calls and SMS on my non-EU number
  2. My Wi-Fi connection is definitely perfect while requesting code
  3. Re-installed WhatsApp many times
  4. Cleared WhatsApp app cache and data from app settings
  5. Restarted and switched off my phone many times
  6. Did a factory reset as well

Whereas, my other EU number is successfully registered on WhatsApp on same new device. What could be the possible issue here?

Hello there,

You should contact Whatsapp for this issue. This does not seem to be a phone related issue.
