Hello. I have reported a bug related to a charging and usage routine that switches between maximum and basic battery protection. All charging described on this post is happening using a Samsung 15W wireless charger.
Setup:
1. Galaxy S24+, One UI 7
2. A routine that turns on maximum battery protection at night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., the same routine turns on basic battery protection.
Problem:
I noticed that after 6 a.m., when the routine switches to basic battery protection, the battery is barely charging. Specifically, it takes several hours to charge a few percent, which is obviously wrong. So, for example, my phone has 80% charge by 6 a.m. at maximum protection. Then, protection is switched to basic, but my phone by 9 a.m. will have only 82%, which is wrong. Interestingly, if I raise the phone from the charger and immediately place it back down, the charging speed becomes normal, and my phone by 9 a.m. will have 100%. I assume the problem is that when the routine switches battery protection during charging, something is wrong with the charging logic. The bug is pretty consistent, but sometimes it doesn't happen, though I couldn't find why.
