I don't think there is a Samsung native setting/app that shows it

I believe you're correct.  I installed a widget, Signal Strength, and paid for the premium version.

It's nice to have but I rarely use it.

It used to show the speed when you clicked on settings... Another stupid decision in android 14...

Try under wifi settings / intelligent wifi/ show network quality info

They say its to stop confusion that people think it's there Internet speed!!!

1. go to Wi-Fi
2. tap three dots
3. tap Intelligent WiFi
4. tap several times on version number at the bottom, this enables Connectivity Labs just below
5. tap Connectivity Labs and you'll find A LOT of interesting data and tools
6. tap WiFi developer options
7. tap Connection Information and you'll see connection speed!

It will show once you exit and reopen settings.  I copied this from another user on here.
