UI 6.1 Worst Update Ever

I can't believe Samsung sent this UI 6.1 update out. My phone is now f*****ed. I can only use the s-pen. I have downgraded to UI 6.0 which works. But the phone now auto updates back to 6.1 and there is nothing I can do to stop the update. Samsung needs to get this fixed, and they need to fix it now.

I did the same and downgraded to 6.0.

If you got into developer options you can disable auto update there....

You still get the occasional reminder but it doesn't auto update..

No problem at all with 6.1 also on April patch all fine with EU update

I've disabled auto update, but this one update is still being forced as a "required" update.

Update was forced this afternoon, and now back to only being able to use the s-pen. Samsung's "temporary fix" of updating the Google app and deleting the app data does not work.

Sorry for the delay. Only just seen your message.

I downgraded to UI 6.0. With build number ending in S918BXXS3BXBD. It has March security update.

Please only do this if you have any experience and knowledge on how to use Odin and install firmware. Not gonna be held responsible for any bricked phones.

With that said, I have now tried 6.1 again and the issues I was having have pretty much gone.

But I am putting my S23u to one side and gonna use the Vivo X100 pro for a while. At least until next Feb when I will trade it in for the S25U.. Who knows...
