Hello! I have a Samsung S23 ultra with a Orange Spain simcard. For some reason my simcard does not work anymore, I bought an e-sim and activated it and this does not work either. I think it may be a problem with my phone and not the simcards. Both simcards say "Emergency calls only". I have topped them both up with data and credit, but no luck. I have tried rebooting, removing and all the other suggested troubleshooting problems. I have had no issue with the Orange simcard before and have used it in many different countries roaming. I have recently updated my phone and am wondering wether that has something to do with it?

A few people have had similar problems since the last update when using a physical SIM and one eSIM. Hopefully Samsung releases a fix soon.

As a troubleshooting step see if your sim card works in another phone @Carmen Brown
Also you can reset the network via Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Connections.
